One Hundred and Two

its about two years since i had my first mochi ball ice cream and think it was at arthur nights fest at the echo in los angeles. we had them on bessie the ice cream truck and gave away but think i ate more then i managed to give away so im pretty sure i was hooked. got out of the metro on my way to the canon gallery here in tokyo and first thing a saw was this deli, bought a green tea mochi for $1.60 not cheep but as soon as a bit into it, i knew it was worth it....if you are hungry for mochi in the US trader joes has em in six packs.....enjoy!

got my first photo published in a chinese weekly paper this week only been here in xiamen one week so it didnt take that long to get in print......the portrait is of my friends rúnar and elín in-front of rúnars photograph on canvas after they played at the xiamen daily festival in xiamen, china last saturday

well made it to xiamen, china in one piece after a short flight from shanghai. going to spend 10 days here at the lovely HEIMA Bistro with my friend rúnar. these photos are from shanghai that i took on a good 12 hour walkabout the city

So im in shanghai, china at the moment on a extra slow internet connection so its been hard to keep up with all the blogs and photos on flickr. trying to buy a ticket to xiamen for tomorrow is a tiny hassle to but hopefully i will be able to post some more stuff from the seabear/borko 2..8 euro tour and some stuff from china...lets hope!
